Agreed - having push notifications is much more useful when one is
travelling and time-strapped. I know I can skip an email, and deal
with a subset, if I'm in a rush. Going to a pull system - whether
going to a website or visiting a forum - is a *lot* harder because I
either have to remember *or* deal with all the unread threads.

Indeed, but that'd be a hard email to skim. Perhaps both problems
(someone complaining, different bits of interest to different people)
could be solved by creating, somewhere, a mailing list per topic:

  * meego-infrastructure-bugjar at ...
  * maemo-extras-bugjar at ...
  * ...
  * maemo-bugjar at ...
  * meego-bugjar at ...

People could subscribe to the sections they want, or to the
consolidated issue which concatenated them all together.

Hope that helps,

Andrew
