[maemo-developers] adaptation of Extras QA hurdles

We have had this discussion few months back but unfortunately it didn't lead
to any action.

It seems that the pieces are out there: appdownloader, Faster Application
Manager and maybe the "testing" application (can't remember the
name...sorry). I think, at least, the first two are Qt based and, hopefully,
all are open source. If we could combine all into a single application we
would have a killer solution. Maybe even add the "donations" button we
talked about not long ago. I was hopeful that the developer of one of these
projects would take over the challenge but we may need to find someone else.

Could we offer as community offer an incentive for someone to take on the
task?

The original thread is here, please review if you are not aware of it:

+1 :)

or better... we need a way to let people know if the application
listed come from stable, testing or unstable tree..... a column with a
semaphore would be enough...... I'm saying this since 1-2 year and
nobody listen to me.

+1 same story: I proposed long time ago, nobody listening...
