     Hi Maemo folks,

SymPy 0.7.1 for Maemo now has an icon (pointing to
"/usr/bin/sympy") to promote the use of SymPy by the end users, with
interactive terminal with iPython or Python.

So I think that SymPy for Maemo should belong to the "user/science"
section.

Another use of SymPy is to function as the brain of "Integral",
"Derivative", etc :
http://www.robertocolistete.net/Integral/
http://www.robertocolistete.net/Derivative/
http://www.robertocolistete.net/Limit/

SymPy 0.7.1 for Maemo is huge, 13.3 MB of pure Python source code,
with many features of a full CAS (Computer Algebra Software) like
Mathematica, Maple, Maxima, etc.

By the way, I finished packaging Integral and SymPy 0.7.1 for Maemo
4 (Diablo), but SymPy 0.7.1 it is not compatible with old iPython 0.8.1
for Maemo 4, i.e., "isympy" gives errors. So I will (try to) package
iPython 0.10-2 for Maemo 4 and 5 in the following days and send it to
extras-devel.

         Best regards,

         Roberto
