Well, maybe, but there are plenty of licences that can be used for media distributions e.g. Creative Commons for a start<BR>
(<A HREF="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creative_Commons">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creative_Commons</A> last viewed 21 April 2006). And those are suitable for fonts, images etc.<BR>

It doesn't help when you need to include external 3rd party applications such as Opera, but any media content developed explicitly for Maemo would be improved by their use.<BR>
