It resizes or creates a file ".swap" on the memory card. Could be you
have a ".swap" there already, created as a root and then it can't touch
it.

is hard to tell. Best would be to describe the problem in finer detail
(e.g. do you get the error message immediately or after some activity
being show, etc.) In general, a bug report would be a good place to follow
