Shot in the dark, but have you tried recalibrating your display? This was a problem for me on my old PalmPilot's and recalibrating usually solved the problem.

--Paul

On 2/20/07,

A number of users, including myself, have reported a loss of touch screen sensitivity which can be visualised by using the Maemopad+ application. In my case, I've lost touch screen sensitivity in the right hand part of the screen covered by the vertical scroll bar meaning that page scrolling by dragging the thumbtrack is a hit and miss affair - I may have to click the stylus on the screen up to 3 or 4 times before a hit is registered.

I've filed bug 1069[1] to address this issue (referencing an ITT forum discussion[2] with various Maemopad+ images), but would be most interested if any Nokia developers could comment on this phenomenon.

Is it a firmware issue (which can/will be fixed in a future update) or is this a hardware issue?

Many thanks in advance!

Neil

1. https://maemo.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1069
