working on a Nokia N800 ---

Thanks to the good work by Barbieri, I've gotten oprofile installed and running on my N800.

QUESTION/PROBLEM: Daemon now reports an "Invalid argument" problem opening the output files:

oprofiled: open of /var/lib/oprofile/samples//current/{root}//bin/busybox/{dep}/{root}//lib/libc-2.3.6.so/CPU_CYCLES.10000.0.all.all.all failed: Invalid argument

This apparently happens many times .. the oprofiled.log contains 53K lines, after a really brief run of a simple program.

ALSO - it has created quite a few of these files, notwithstanding the error
HOWEVER - the files ALL have only null data -- in my case, size 2680 with all bytes 0
(same for all files!)
--> which, naturally, leads to an unhappy result with opreport, which complains of "Invalid argument"..

---
NOTE - it did work for a while last week.
(I don't recall changing any configuration parameters)
I've tried reinstalling the SDK filesystem and oprofile things, but no improvements.

Runs are made with /var/lib/oprofile -> /home/user/runs/oprofile, lots of space available on main file system, empty "oprofile" directory to start with.

Any suggestions would be most helpful....
