hadn't seen the lagotek before....but yeah, that's what I'm going for....an open source lagotek. Hardware cost for my project(USD): computer $100, touchscreen $200, camera $25, electronics for hvac relays $25. So for less than $400 have a lagotek. Could get it down below $300 for volume buying.<br />My first task is to get an x86 maemo linux distro.....<br /><br /><blockquote style="border-left: 2px solid rgb(81, 103, 198); padding-right: 0px; padding-left: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 0px;"><div style="font-family: arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 10pt; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal;">----- Original Message -----</div><div style="background: rgb(228, 228, 228) none repeat scroll 0% 50%; -moz-background-clip: -moz-initial; -moz-background-origin: -moz-initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: -moz-initial; font-family: arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 10pt; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal;"><b>From:</b> Jon Smirl <a href="mailto:jonsmirl@gmail.com"><jonsmirl@gmail.com></a></div><div style="font-family: arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 10pt; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal;"><b>To:</b> Darius Jack <a href="mailto:dariusjack2006@yahoo.ie"><dariusjack2006@yahoo.ie></a></div><div style="font-family: arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 10pt; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal;"><b>Cc:</b> Gille Caluim Anesthesia <a href="mailto:robert.d.watson@gillecaluim.com"><robert.d.watson@gillecaluim.com></a> , <a href="mailto:maemo-developers@maemo.org"><maemo-developers@maemo.org></a></div><div style="font-family: arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 10pt; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal;"><b>Date:</b> Friday, January 11 2008 05:14 PM</div><div style="font-family: arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 10pt; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal;"><b>Subject:</b> Re: new project</div>On 1/11/08, Darius Jack <dariusjack2006@yahoo.ie> wrote:<br />> Hi,<br />> visited www.chumby.com<br />> and your chumby is liliput version of Nokia tablet, with really small<br />> screen, nothing said about its resolution<br />> and what makes it not a hot gizmo is this<br />> "<br />> Because it's always on, the chumby must be plugged in to an AC outlet.<br /><br />He says he wants it wall mounted.
