hehe<br><br>it was a very short enthusiastic message<br><br>having the dual level dialog with easy colours on the front and an advanced button where we can use more fiddly configuration seems the nicest way.<br>how the eventual dialog looks is not important to me, its the principle that matters.<br>

Settable colours are needed, I think and a few pre-defined palettes would be<br>
awesome. But if the widget existed I would use it straight away in GPE even<br>
with a hardcoded palette (I could define the palette for GPE in my copy of<br>
the widget). Preferably not using cairo (I do not use cairo in GPE -- I<br>
think that is because it isn't available in early versions of Maemo).<br>
