I want to interface my PC to my 770 using Bluetooth. The goal is to become more familiar with Bluetooth. I hope that someone can give me some advice. 1. I need something in my PC to allow for Bluetooth communication. Can someone suggest a Bluetooth interface cards that works under Linux? 2. I would need to be able to write a program to talk to this card (C / Java). Are Bluetooth PC cards seen as serial ports? Are there standard API's? 3. I also want to make the PC look like a phone to the 770. What standard does the 770 use when searching for a phone? There must be some standard so that all phones look the same. Another way of asking the same question: Is there a Bluetooth standard that a phone needs to support if it allows other Bluetooth devices to access the internet through it? I would appreciate any / all direction that you can offer. Thanks, Etienne
