scans the ITOS2005 application catalog
  http://maemo.org/maemowiki/ApplicationCatalog
for changes, but traffic has already begun to shift to 
the ITOS2006 application catalog
  http://maemo.org/maemowiki/ApplicationCatalog2006

Of cause we could create a new RSS feed for the new App Catalog.

But I think this won't be necessary, and extending the current 
RSS feed to include both App Catalogs - ITOS2005 and ITOS2006 -
would be OK, because changes in the old catalog already have 
started to become less frequent, and I expect ITOS2005 to become 
obsolete very soon, because already ITOS2006 BETA is so much 
better than all previous ITOS2005 releases!

So I would suggest to simply let evolve your ITOS2005 feed 
into an ITOS2006 feed...
