No idea.

Have you tried rebooting?

This is probably unrelated to your problem: Sometimes my 770 fails to
connect, and icd starts eating 100% CPU.  Any attempts to connect are
ignored (i.e. the "select connection" dialog never reappears).  Only
reboot helps (sudo killall icd in an xterm hangs).
