Yes, your question is a rightful one. I recommend to follow Eero's
advices (email from this thread) and use those as a startinig point.
Unfortunately my experience is mostly based on real measurements on real
devices, but i guess that if you are running your app in quemu you
should be able to detect activity from processes.

However thtere are "hidden" bugs, like using buggy libraries: you expect
your code to be suspended, instead it's relying on a nasty busyloop down
the chain. But those should be the last problem you will face after
having cleaned your app.

You are right but I tend to be very cautios when I make statements of a
certain relevance; some call it paranoia, i prefer to consider it as
part of being engineer :-D
