[maemo-users] Updating the newest firmware with hardware revision 1202 - problem

Hello,

I have a N800 (proto) obtained from my employer. I tried to flash it with
the linux flasher, but it seems that the hardware revision is too old. Is
there anything I can do about it, e.g. try to force the install?

Any ideas what has been changed between 1202 and 1301?
Would the newest firmware work, if I manage to install it?
