[maemo-users] Maemo project news announcements

Apologies if this isn't the right forum for this, but I couldn't find any better place to ask on the maemo web site:

A request to all the great developers that post news announcements: could you please include a quickie one liner about what your program does?

I often see announcements "xxx program has been updated." But then, I often don't have a clue what "xxx program" does. Is it a game? Is it a media player? Is it etc. etc. It would be nice if each announcement also had "xxx program, a blah blah game/calendar program/iphone killer, was updated today" to help us newbies out.
