[maemo-users] errors reflashing N800 in OSX

I'm sure I'm overlooking something, but I am having difficulty reflashing my N800, which has developed the "endless reboot" problem after installing a variety of unsupported packages.

Using the sudo method:

sudo ./flasher.macosx RX-34_2007SE_2.2006.51-6_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin -f -R

the Terminal returns:

Suitable USB device not found, waiting
USB device found found at bus 004, device address 003-0421-0105-02-00
Unsupported board (id = 0x0000)

Using the root method:

root# ./flasher.macosx -F RX-34_2007SE_2.2006.51-6_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin -f -R

the Terminal returns:

Invalid FIASCO subblock count (2)

I have removed both memory cards and tried it while both holding down the "home" key and not doing so.

Would anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks, and all best
Rick
