Tuukka: Thanks for the tip, I did also learn about this in the course of 
researching my Modest problem.  I'm fairly certain that when I addressed 
this issue last (several years ago), TBird didn't support sender 
identities yet.  It's good to know the situation has improved.

Back on topic, am I really the only one with a mail setup like this?  I 
thought it was a moderately common arrangement.  Or do other folks have 
the same issue and are just being quiet because they don't have a solution?
