There are exceptions, but normally an app has to be rebuilt, however 
Nick told you how to get gnumeric (but he didn't tell you that the 
maemo-extras-devel is for experimental and possibly buggy software, so 
you should disable it once you have installed gnumeric)

There's no fm receiver on the n810, only on the n800
