Why be locked into a specific carrier or subset of carriers, or risk laying out an extremely significant amount of cash only to have a useless device thrown in a drawer? Or worse, end up carring two phones, one that works like a phone and another that doesn't, with the functions that remain being compromised by phone form factors. The Internet Tablets have lots of uses beyond Internet access, and will be useful with whatever carrier and wireless technology is available. Flexibility vs. compromise... Mark
