[maemo-users] connect a bluetooth device as a keyboard

Dear Folks,
 I'm trying to connect a BT bar code scanner as a secondary keyboard. I
can happily read /dev/rfcommx to get the resolved barcodes, but I'd love
to be able to see the scanned data as keyboard input. It works
"auto-magically" with USB bar code scanners but I seem to be at a total
loss when it comes to BT devices. Defining the scanner as a keyboard does
 not work and the basic redirection works only for the subshell. Advice?
