Yes, you have to have a hardware keyboard to us Fennec. It doesn't
support the on-screen keyboard, so you're out of luck for entering
anything on your N800. If all you need to do is click on links, it
might be okay.

I can't recommend installing Fennec on *any* device. It will screw
with other things. I can't recall the details, but I had to re-flash
my N800 after installing Fennec, because not only was it useless
without a hardware keyboard, it changed the behavior of MicroB and
made it useless as well.

There is no GUI access whatsoever to settings in Fennec, and the
defaults are not optimal. You *might* be able to access about:config,
but I can't verify.

Do yourself a favor and wait until the full Firefox Mobile is available.
