There's another possibility: maybe your keyboard requires a little
extra juice for the non-standard components inside and the tablet
doesn't supply enough. You might try connecting it through a powered
USB hub to rule that out. I have yet to find a USB memory drive that
will work without a hub. IIRC it gives the same error message when
connected directly to the tablet.
