I agree, the browsers are there mainly for full desktop browser
compatibility. Epiphany is faster than Firefox, and if you absolutely must
run a Java applet on the tablet, it is your best bet for doing so.

I tried Ekiga too. I couldn't overcome the audio limitations; I failed to
get the app working.
