The original question was specifically about how individuals use their
personal tablets.

It's not really a valid comparison to describe a situation where
you're writing your own apps and handing out the devices to employees
for very specific functions. Pretty much *any* device would work well
in that situation, and when you're writing your own apps you have
total control over both the functionality and usability.
