Well if you'd told us that earlier..we could have saved ourselves all that hassle :)

But you do know the N900 can also run on GSM/GPRS? Albeit slower.

But from a practical POV, it is a very valid point (its a pity all the iphone users in 3g areas didn't think of that before buying 2g phones :) )
