[maemo-users] Where is the contacts list stored?

Start the Contacts application. Enter the menu (the title bar down
arrow). Choose "Export". Select a directory. The database will be saved
as a bunch of vcards in this directory...

As others have mentioned, the backend is the Evolution Data Server.
