Being a > text application, I don't see why it wouldn't work. yes, that's my next step but it's a new experience for me and will require my being able to set aside some time to explore. I do think it's the same procedure for Maemo 4 as it is for Maemo 5 so it should be straightforward. xmmsctrl, although not ideal, will do for now. Thanks again for all the suggestions! eric
