no the change did not make a difference. Connections is
lost after 2-3 minutes.. Basically, the same behaviour as
before.
If I keep Internet radio up and running, the connection is stable and reliable

On 2/18/06, Primorec <igor.furlan@gmail.com

Packet data idle time: 10 minutes
Data call idle time: 10 minutes
WLAN idle time: 60 minutes

I will set these parameters per your suggestion
Packet data idle time: Unlimited
Data call idle time: 10 minutes ( will keep the original setting because I do not know what is 'Data call idle time')
WLAN idle time: Unlimited

Let's cross fingers
Did you set in Control Panel / Connectivity / Idle times (second tab) /
Packet data and WLAN "Idle time" to "Unlimited"?

I have an ASUS WL500GX (Linux inside too) and have no trouble
maintaining browsing for tens of minutes.
