Hi,<br><br>You don't need root priviledges to install Python for Maemo. Just download the pymaemo runtime from <a href="http://pymaemo.sf.net">pymaemo.sf.net</a> and install it using the application installer on the Nokia 770. Uninstalling is also that easy.
