Don't know if you read all my mail:<br><br>1- No, i didn't called Nokia yet... maybe it is a way out. The thing is: how can i call a 1-800 number from Brazil? (maybe skypeOut...)<br>2- 'cause Nokia does not ship to Brazil the N800. And, if it did, i would have to pay 60% more just for tax!
<br>3- No, I'm not the "the guy in the Norden with a stolen credit card". My friend is just a student in US, so he doesn't have a credit card from US. His credit card is also from Brazil, with a brazillian billing address!!
<br><br>Thanks again!<br><br><div><span class="gmail_quote">2007/3/28, Paul Klapperich <<a href="mailto:maemo.org@bobpaul.org">maemo.org@bobpaul.org</a>>:</span><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="border-left: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204); margin: 0pt 0pt 0pt 0.8ex; padding-left: 1ex;">
I can't help you at all, but I have a couple of thoughts:<br>1) Have you tried calling Nokia? Maybe they'll let you do it over the phone.<br>2) Why don't you just ship it to your address in Brazil?<br>3) If it's a friend of yours, have him buy and give him the money when he gives you the N800. The only reason you can't ship to an address other than your billing address is to prevent fraud--ie, make sure you aren't the guy in the Norden with a stolen credit card. If you trust your friend enough to bring the device, I'm sure you can trust him enough to buy it. If he can't afford it, send him the money paypal or western union or something ahead of time.

<div>This is the history:</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I live in Brazil, so I can't buy a N800 here. I have a Nokia developers discount code... I got into Nokia's web shop and I tryed to buy the N800 using my credit card, but I would like to send it (shipping address) to a friend of mine who lives in Norden, California because he is comingo to Brazil next month and he could bring it to me. But guess what guys: in Nokia's web shop my shipping address must be the billing address!!!!!!! Since I'm from Brazil, my shipping address is from Brazil (and not from Norden, California) and Nokia doesn't ship to Brazil!
</div>
<div>In Summary: I have an international credit card (and money!), I have a discount code, I have a friend living in US that is coming to Brazil (he doesn't have a credit card with billing address in US to!) and I REALLY want a N800. Nokia doesn't let me to!
</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Could anyone help me in anyway ?!!!?!?!?!?!?!?</div>
<div> </div>
<div> </div>
<div>Thanks in advance,</div></span></div><span>
