I know there will be a mix of open- and closed-source apps and that is good. But, denying an app's feasibility because it is proproetary, can be detrimental to the process finding a great app.<br />

I think you've misunderstood my post. I wasn't advocating anywhere that <br />
proprietary software makers be denied access to the device.<br />
