just wanted to let you know that I released the initial version of my
port of GTK G-Rays 2 to "maemo". This also includes gpsbabel-1.3.4 for
IT OS 2006 and 2007. The N800 version is untested, though, as I donot
have such a device.

Great. I gather you are not in marketing?

In other words, do you think you could possibly describe exactly
what your contribution does in simple english for those of us who dozed
off when the turnip truck passed the GTK G-Rays sign post?

IMHO, way too many Maemo contributers seem to think that everyone on
this list (and those visiting Maemo) knows what the gonzo's their hard
work and contribution to Maemo actually does as if everyone visiting
Maemo is some Linux computer geek.

Guys -- it's time to get a clue. There's many reasons the Linux/Maemo
world stays perpetually in the background -- see above (or visit it's
Maemo web page) for one of the latest exhibits of this (lack of
marketing) problem. Quality products put almost as much effort into
marketing their work as is put into developing it.
