You might look at DealExtreme.com for various conectors. Free
Shipping (at least to USA) and prices are great. Somehow they make it
work from Hong Kong. It might take a couple weeks to get the
products. I typically end up padding any order with a bunch of other
gizmos and gadgets, because it's so inexpensive. <br>

I got tired of fruitless searches and was getting too impatient to wait
for shipping time, so I spliced together a couple of cables I had lying
around. (Easy as pie - I checked and tested to be sure, but all I
really would have had to do was match the colors of the conductors.)
Didn't cost me a dime! I now have a working 12" host cable that is much
less bulky than the cable kits with the interchangeable plugs, and will
put much less stress on the tablet's socket than the 1-piece molded
adapter.<br>

The only USB keyboard I have is a Gyration compact keyboard. I didn't
think it would work, since there's not enough juice to power a thumb
drive and the Gyration has the added power requirement of the
transmitter, but it works like a charm, even without a hub! The mouse
isn't recognized, but that's okay since the tablet has the touch
screen. Too bad the Gyration products don't use Bluetooth - they *are*
2.4 GHz, though.<br>

This is a workable stop-gap solution, but I'm still going to try to
find a folding Bluetooth keyboard for a reasonable price. (The Apple
Bluetooth keyboard, although small, doesn't save much space over my
compact Gyration. I also have a protective hard plastic cover for the
Gyration.)<br>

Note: my USB to PS/2 adapter cable did NOT work, even with a powered
hub. Maybe it's just the
model I have, but that means I can't use any of my regular PS/2 devices
with the tablet. That adapter does work "out of the box" with my
desktop Linux machines.<br>
