If Skype process initiating the VOIP mode has exited, the VOIP-mode should
also disappear regardless of what Skype does.  Implementation of these kind
of things should be robust enough so that e.g. the initiating process crashing
doesn't put device into "non-functional" state.  This can be achieved either
by requiring the state to be refreshed at certain interval (like is done
for screen blank prevention in media playing case) or monitoring the initiating
process (if it keeps socket open, socket is closed when process exits, or
it's PID could be checked e.g. at few minutes intervals).
