           Summary: ICQ presence bugs
           Product: Communication
           Version: 4.0
          Platform: N810
        OS/Version: Windows
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Low
         Component: Presence
        AssignedTo: rtcomm at maemo.org
        ReportedBy: james at digisys.net
         QAContact: presence-bugs at maemo.org

SOFTWARE VERSION:
(Control Panel > General > About product)

2.2007.50-2 with RTCOM Beta 2.2

STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM:

Add your ICQ "Account". Have any contacts that are currently in "N/A"
(Extended away) status.

EXPECTED OUTCOME:

Contacts should show as "away" everywhere when they are in N/A mode.

ACTUAL OUTCOME:

Contacts show as "online" in the contacts app. They also show "online" when
you choose a contact in the Chat app. However they show "away" when you
finally have a chat window open with them.

REPRODUCIBILITY:

Always

EXTRA SOFTWARE INSTALLED:

Nothing relavant other then possibly Pidgin, but it works correctly.

OTHER COMMENTS:

Also in an ICQ chat window, my user status will randomly show "away" when my
presence is certainly "online" as indicated in the taskbar above. Also I
think it would be better to show my account alias in the chat window rather the
my cryptic user ID number.

Basically there seems to be some realy ICQ presence mysteries for both the
table users stats (as shown in apps like chat) and other ICQ contact who are in
N/A mode.
