------- Comment #5 from joshua at willowisp.net 2008-06-06 16:45 GMT+3 -------
Nokia-N810-51-3:~# apt-cache policy libmeanwhile1
libmeanwhile1:
  Installed: 1.0.2-1mh1
  Candidate: 1.0.2-1mh1
  Version table:
 *** 1.0.2-1mh1 0
        500 http://maemo-hackers.org mistral/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

sorry to take so long to get back with this info, traveling currently.

yesterday when I ran the policy command, it came back with a different repo
(the pidgin on maemo repo:
http://idefix.go-nix.ca/nix chinook/pidgin Packages

I think the next comment might be along the lines of "I'm using a mistral
package on chinook..."  :)

Should I uninstall this? I think I may have to enable red-pill mode to get it
to show in the package list, but I can force it with apt.

Also, I am including my 'sources.list':
Nokia-N810-51-3:~# more /etc/apt/sources.list.d/hildon-application-manager.list
deb http://catalogue.tableteer.nokia.com/certified/ chinook user
deb http://catalogue.tableteer.nokia.com/non-certified/ chinook user
deb http://catalogue.tableteer.nokia.com/updates/chinook/ ./

deb http://www.estamos.de/download/apt chinook main
deb http://www.cobb.uk.net/apt chinook user
deb http://mg.pov.lt/770 chinook user other

After changing the maemo hackers repo (above) to chinook, libmeanwhile1 reports
with:
Nokia-N810-51-3:~# apt-cache policy libmeanwhile1
libmeanwhile1:
  Installed: 1.0.2-1mh1
  Candidate: 1.0.2-1mh1
  Version table:
 *** 1.0.2-1mh1 0
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

and no upgrades available after an update:
Nokia-N810-51-3:~# apt-get upgrade
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.

should I remove libmeanwhile1 ? (now that it doesn't seem to be supplied be any
repo that should be on my system...)

Thanks for the help.
