Date: Tue May 6 15:30:36 EEST 2008
https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3136

Summary: ICQ should not reconnect when disconnected due to log in
                    by different client
           Product: Communication
           Version: 4.0
          Platform: N810
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Keywords: enhancement-it2008
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Low
         Component: Presence
        AssignedTo: rtcomm at maemo.org
        ReportedBy: tilman.vogel at web.de
         QAContact: presence-bugs at maemo.org

SOFTWARE VERSION:
RX-34+RX-44_2008SE_2.2007.50-2_PR_MR0
rtcomm beta 2.3

STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM:
- connect to your ICQ account on the N810
- connect to your ICQ account on your PC

EXPECTED OUTCOME:
- the N810 is disconnected because ICQ only allows one connection at a time
- the PC should stay connected because this one is obviously used more recently

ACTUAL OUTCOME:
- the N810 automatically reconnects
- the PC gets disconnected because ICQ only allows one connection at a time

REPRODUCIBILITY:
always

EXTRA SOFTWARE INSTALLED:
probably none relevant

OTHER COMMENTS:
The reason for getting disconnected is reported in the ICQ protocol. When the
disconnect is due to network issues (disconnecting from WLAN, e.g.), then an
automatic reconnect is appropriate. But when the reason is that there was a
login from a different machine, then it is not and should be avoided.
