STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM:
use my work network - can't connect on yahoo IM
on pidgin, an alternate port can be set as the 'pager port' - this gets around
the FW restriction

EXPECTED OUTCOME:
ports should be configurable

ACTUAL OUTCOME:
ports are not configurable

REPRODUCIBILITY:
always
