           Summary: SIP authentication fails
           Product: Chat and Internet Call
           Version: 4.1.3 (5.2008.43-7)
          Platform: N810
        OS/Version: Ubuntu
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Medium
         Component: SIP
        AssignedTo: rtcomm at maemo.org
        ReportedBy: time.tourist at web.de
         QAContact: sip-bugs at maemo.bugs

SOFTWARE VERSION: 5.2008.43-7
STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM: connect to any SIP provider (e.g. ekiga.net,
diamondcard.us,1und1.de,terrasip.net) from the build-in chat/SIP framework
EXPECTED OUTCOME: register to SIP provider, place calls
ACTUAL OUTCOME: not possible to register
REPRODUCIBILITY: always (cannot test without NAT-WLAN-router)
OTHER COMMENTS: This might describe the problem:
http://www.internettablettalk.com/forums/showthread.php?p=272202
Until 07/April/2009 I was able to connect to http://terraSIP.net/ . Obviously
they have changed now something. However, connecting with the same settings to
the same provider from the same WLAN succeeds when using Ekiga on Ubuntu. It
has to be related to the way telepathy(?)/sophia-sip(?) connect to the
sip-providers. (I tried to install the rtcomm-beta, but it fails due to a
broken dependency with telepathy-haze.)
