Sure - appreciate it, but that much I know, but you can't use any other MMI
codes such as check status, change ring time, or set a different number
depending on the condition (well, aside from hassling with putting the SIM into
another phone - not very handy as often as I change these and usually
individually). I also don't like only 20-seconds, which is the other variable I
change to 30. Similar, but different (and hopefully not a 'feature'), but where
is unconditional call forwarding? I use that regularly and if can't be set in
the phone settings, people should be able to do it this way.

I won't bother with the various codes I use periodically, but this was simply
one I discovered when I went to check current status, then tried a few other
MMI codes.

Not to mention how much quicker it is.

I apologize, I know this is a bit venty as was my posting, but I'm already
being very patient for some updates and adds to a pretty bare featured device
that I expected a bit more out of and this issue is as basic, 101 as you get
with a GSM device.
