Hello Andre,

It's closed because of the later added Bug 6444.

The Bug 6444 was not very specific described and was really a asking for a
feature. Not documenting a Bug.

This Bug 6083 is reporting a missing feature in the Contacts and also clearly
marked as enhancement. So I interpret the Severity Field. Is this wrong?

Now both Reports are closed. This one marked as Duplicate and the "feature
Request 6444" because of the Brainstorm/Bug Report problem.
https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6444#c2 what I can really understand. In
the last few weeks Bug report gets really flooded with simple feature requests.

Because of the each other Duplicate Marking there is now no Report opened for
this issue and there are still many Data lost during syncing N900 with Symbian
S60 devices.
When this issue is solved the Sync over Bluetooth with Symbian devices and
other PIM suites should also be solved.

I think I shouldn't report every single problem that appear with a single issue
in a single Bug Report?

I guess we have then more and more problems with noise in the Bug Report. :-(

There was always a discussion on http://talk.maemo.org with the insight that
this issue is a Bug. When this is closed because of the same reason of Bug
6444, should I post it to Brainstorm first?

I discussed this there before. But when I post it to Brainstorm. What kind of
solution should I provide?
 - "it's missing, forgotten, could be a bug"

I have to provide more than one solution. You can't vote only for a single
item. :-/

What should I do?

Should we Reopen this, should I try to find something for the Brainstorm or
should I report the same thing again with the sync Problem over Bluetooth with
Symbian Devices?

I think it is not a good idea to report every problem with the same issue
totaly new.
 - prefered numbers Information are lost during import to N900
 - renamed fields from other devices are set to default value (this report and
very good explained by Lucas Maneos, thanx)
 - fax number (here also as a extra report by a other user) is imported as
"Phone (Other)"
 - can't edit or add field "Phone (Other)" on N900 - it works only over import
oder sync.

I only try to help and report things I have problems with. But I also hope for
a fix.

Thanks for you patience, Andre. :-)
