Followed the instructions but apt-get install didn't find any smspdu-logger
package. I have probably found another bug regarding delivery receipts and
wrong interpretation, but need some PDU dumps to verify.

On the timing issue here: it could very well be the way in which US/Canada
operators exchange SMS. It's done via SMS HUB's, which might mess with the
timestamps, in contrast to the rest of the world where SMS interworking is done
via SS7/MAP.
