EXACT STEPS LEADING TO PROBLEM:
1. open phone app in vertical view
2. "select contact"
3. switch to horisontal mode (by turning the phone)


EXPECTED OUTCOME:
the only difference should be the change from vertical to horisontal mode.

ACTUAL OUTCOME:
the elegant contacts navigation sidebar ("0-9", "ABC", etc) disappears.
