Kasper, PeteC:
I assume you both bought these phones from a carrier/mobile company?
As such, the companies are free to change content/behaviour, hence this is
probably out of scope.

> This wouldn't be a big deal, except that the mobile number in there is wrong.

"eds-tools" are available via the extras-devel application catalogue.
Please read the warning below though.

1. Start More > Application Manager
2. Main menu > Application catalogues
3. New
4.  Name =           Extras-Testing
    Web address =    http://repository.maemo.org/extras-devel/
    Distribution =   fremantle
    Components =     free non-free
5. Save
6. Install the package "eds-tools"
7. Open More > X Terminal
8. Provide the output of "eds-get-contacts --verbose --uri=sim://msisdn" here,
   but replace your phone number by 12345 if you don't want to post it here.

If the (wrong) phone number is stored on the SIM card itself (some providers do
this), that is where the information comes from that is displayed under "My
information".

** WARNING **
Please note that Extras-Devel provides software that should NOT be used by
normal users and CAN be dangerous by draining your battery or making your
device. The software in Extras-Devel often needs more testing.

Please disable Extras Devel application catalogue in Application manager after
installing eds-tools (which is definitely a safe application) by going to
Application Catalogues again, opening the Extras-Devel catalogue, and clicking
"Disabled" at the bottom.
