Sorry Mathias, I didn't mean to be rude. I know architecture can be surprising
underneath, that's why I said it 'seems' simple.

A user who changes SIMs often (and wants his vcard to change each time) is a
good counter-case.

I suppose ideally you'd be able to add a contact number to 'my info' and choose
whether to enter a number directly or use (whichever) number was on the SIM at
the time. Although that really IS making assumptions about architecture :)
