https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5357 ------- Comment #49 from eddo at vodafone.it 2009-12-17 02:50 GMT+3 ------- (In reply to comment #48) > I think it is useless to put just more examples here. This makes technical > discussion much harder to read and track. Please just vote for a bug, this > gives more effort. > I don't know if this is considered an useless example, but I just tried (successfully) to send the special command to swap the master and slave "BIS" SIMs (the italian vodafone's twin sim service). This is normally done via a SAT menu (missing on the n900) or via the *101*1# command (refused by the n900 because the '#' character). So I simply issued the command "atd *101*1# " to the modem's serial port and the command worked perfectly. So I'm still convinced that the main problem is just a stupid bug in the UI that refuses the # symbol. Fixing this can solve a lot of troubles to the n900 users, although it surely not fix all the special commands related problems. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.maemo.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Replies to this email are NOT read, instead please add comments at https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5357 ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.
