At the moment I am using the phone with Orange Dominican Republic on a a
pre-paid plan. It is IMPOSSIBLE for me to recharge the account. I CANNOT make
phone calls (credit balance is zero), and will soon lose the ability for me to
receive them once the current credit expires.

I need a work around (some kind of script to invoke the modem directly maybe)
in the mean time. Can anyone help?
