https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6930 ------- Comment #12 from spamsuxx at gmail.com 2009-12-30 02:24 GMT+3 ------- (In reply to comment #11) > A somewhat tedious workaround could be, when you receive such a call and you > can map it to an existing contact, to merge the SIP caller's ID with the > contact from the call list view. > I agree to the security issues assigning a Contact only based on the CID. But consider this: I have 6+ SIP Numbers so I would have to merge 6+ numbers for one account. This will look very messy... You might add an option to allow CID matching by phonenumber ({international region code}{region code}{number}) only. This would be an acceptable workaround in my eyes (until cryptography is more widely spread) Cheers Bjoern -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.maemo.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Replies to this email are NOT read, instead please add comments at https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6930 ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact.
