That seem to had been the problem.

I had to use 'mc-account set sip2 string:proxy-host=vpn-host.example.com' to
get voip to work with some level of stability. For some reason my voip
(Sipgate, Gizmo, or GoogleVoice) will not stay up for a period of time.
