I suspect that U Oregon filters ICMP packets. For example, if I try to ping
google.com then I get:

joshua at dell-desktop:~/honor/mea$ ping google.com
PING google.com (72.14.205.100) 56(84) bytes of data.
>From vl-198.uonet3-gw.uoregon.edu (128.223.198.2) icmp_seq=1 Packet filtered
>From vl-198.uonet3-gw.uoregon.edu (128.223.198.2) icmp_seq=2 Packet filtered

Are there some network tests I can do to determine what is screwing up the
N810?
